The bowl features a classic Arts & Crafts form with hand-hammered detailing, a multi-lobed body, a scalloped rim, and an openwork foliate, pierced floral pedestal base. Despite regional associations, the company was actually founded in Evanston, Illinois in 1914 by Ernest Gerlach. He named the shop after the legendary 16th-century Italian goldsmith Benvenuto Cellini. 5 1/2" x 4" x 2 1/2", 196.25 grams. Good condition.
