Unique, terracotta sculpture created circa 1970. Signed "P. Jencks". This work was exhibited at Boston University in the artist's retrospective "Penelope Jenks" (March 4 - April 2, 2006). 14" x 18" x 18" (without base); with base 25" (h). Penelope Jencks is an American sculptor and a graduate of Boston University. Her public works include a statue of the historian Samuel Eliot Morison on Commonwealth Ave. in Boston, Massachusetts; and the Robert Frost Sculpture at Amherst College, Amherst, Massachusetts. Good condition.
