Collection of nine (9) hole eye pig form still banks. These were designed strictly as still banks, meaning they have a coin slot on top but lack a bottom opening or trap door. To retrieve the saved money, children either had to use a thin knife blade to fish out coins one by one or smash the pottery completely. Because so many were broken, intact survivors are relatively rare. Ranging in size: from: 7" x 4" to 4" x 2". Good condition, with the largest having a crack at the coin slot and the second largest having a chip at the ear and loss to the glazes at the coin slot.
