The Andover chair, with sculptural bentwood spindles that transition into the armrests, was designed by Davis Allen and released in 1983. Manufactured in Italy for Stendig. After production was ceased at Stendig, Knoll acquired the design rights and re-releated the chair as it's Exeter chair, in 1992. This pair are marked, Stendig, Made in Italy. 21 x 18 x 37, seat height: 18: Good condition, with minor loss at armrest cap.
