Signed indistinctly lower left. Gouache and crayon maquette for a potential poster. Amilcar was a company launched by two Paris buinessmen, Emil Akar and Joseph Larny, in 1921. It started with a small car that became progressively larger. The company went out of business in 1939. Frame: 21 1/4" x 29 1/2"; sight: 15 1/2" x 23 1/2". Good condition with repaired tear along the upper center margin.
