Fair condition, there is evidence of minor decomposition of an interior panel, all over oxidation and rust, not inspected below ground, see pictures. Michael Steiner is a member of the Bennington school, abstract artist associated with Bennington College in Vermont. He is best known for his geometric abstract sculpture. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1971. His work is in collections world wide. These include Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Power Gallery of Contemporary Art in Sydney, AU.
