Antique advertising posters, vintage and modern art.

Antique posters featuring:

Jules Chéret, a French painter and lithographer who has been called the father of the modern poster. This two-sheet original poster, with the dancers approximately life-size, is one of Cheret's masterpieces.

A 1930's poster that shows a picador ready to stab a bottle of Liqueur Izzara as he would a bull in the ring. Izarra is a sweet liqueur produced in the French Basque Country and has been on the market since 1904.

Original art featuring:

Alba by Alex Katz (American, born 1927), 1992. This work is a portrait of Alba Clemente, the wife of the artist Francesco Clemente.

Carol Summers (1925-2016) was drawn to color woodcuts around 1950 and it became his specialty thereafter. Over the years he has developed a process and style that is both innovative and readily recognizable. His art is known for it’s large scale, saturated fields of bold color, semi-abstract treatment of landscapes and a luminescent quality achieved through a printmaking process he invented.

Accents from Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci to Le Creuset and MORE!

Additional finds include:

Hermes Avalon Wool and Cashmere Blanket Throw

Limited edition Louis Vuitton duffle bag issued for the 1992 America's Cup, held in San Diego. The America’s Cup is the grail of yachting. It sees challengers racing across the oceans for a lifelong quest. The freedom, courage, and skills that it requires reflect the trailblazing spirit of Louis Vuitton. Louis Vuitton has been a major partner of the America’s Cup since 1983.  This collection was only sold at the races and, therefore, extremely rare.

Men's shoes including Gucci and Common Project.

Le Creuset to Delonghi for Nespresso.

Welcome to Boston Proper on the Common!

Happy hunting,

Maggie and Jim
