A large collection of art showcasing breathtaking landscapes of America each in gilded frames. Scroll slowly through these listings as you would in a gallery as each will spark emotions and create a connection with you just as they have for our client.
Listed artists include:
James Cook, American, b 1947. Landscape, Oil on Canvas. Cook is an American painter based in Tucson, Arizona, known nationally for expressive, monumental landscapes and urban scenes that employ vigorous brushwork and and move between realism and abstraction.
Karen Larson Turner, b 1969. Offering two large scale oil on canvas works. Both are absolutely breathtaking and were inspired by the time she spent summering on Martha’s Vineyard as a child.
Robert Young Clay, American, 1936 – 2010. Our client commissioned many pieces from this artist ranging in sizes. Most of Clay’s works were based on his memories of American landscapes.
Murray Muldofsky, a classical realist trained in the methods of the Old Masters. He has won numerous awards and is known for his fox hunting scenes. The pieces in this collection were commissioned and depict sun splashed seascapes.
Unconventional art including:
A custom commissioned three dimensional Martha’s Vineyard weather vane from renowned artisans Tuck & Holland. This hand crafted piece is made from two copper sheets, hand cut and finished with a brazed bronze edge.
An artist commissioned hand painted four panel screen on canvas. This is no ordinary room divider. This piece is one of a kind. It’s dual sided; one side features a stenciled fleur de lis, the reverse mimics a eight panel door. Specialty hinges enable this piece to stand while completely extended to a flat position.
A grand highlight of this home is the Yamaha DGC1 Player Piano in Black Lacquer. The Yamaha DGC1 takes the beauty, quality, and affordability of the GC1 grand piano and elevates it with Disklavier technology. The Disklavier is the only piano that can truly reproduce every nuance of a piano performance–whether it’s your own performance or one of a famous artist. Serial 25344.
Featured furnishing include:
A pair of stunning Klismos armchairs, since acquired at the D.C. Design Center, we can reliably assume them to be from a collection by Thomas Pheasant, a designer for Baker Furniture. When selected they came with the guarantee to “add splendor to your home”. These artful chairs incorporate sculpture with a luxury striped velvet upholstery and a comfortable sit.
Custom made, hand painted, gilded console table from the Design Center of D.C. This magnificent hall table can be displayed in any manner as there is no back, the design continues to the reverse.
