The Hunt continues with a unique buying opportunity! This is your chance to purchase original to the home fixtures, featuring ornately carved Victorian era mantles, with lions, rams and cherubs, to modern professional quality chef’s kitchen appliances, think Sub-Zero, Wolf and Viking, happy hunting!

This home was built in 1862 on land acquired from the Boston and Roxbury Mill Corporation. The Boston and Roxbury Mill Corp was formed in 1813 to build a dam across the tidal marshes of the Charles River to produce water power for mills and later filled in to create the land that became Boston’s Back Bay.

Did you know that Beacon Street was known as Western Ave (and formerly Mill Dam Road) until 1868?!

This event intends to honor a piece of Boston history by transferring it to a new home.

Featuring 19th century hand carved fireplace mantel surrounds in rich Satinwood and marble depicting cherubs, rams and lions.

Columned and gadrooned with cherubs, deliberately provocative in their depictions.

Roaring lions and overflowing cornucopias.

Ram Heads, ionic columns, floral swag and ribbon with crossed torch center panel.

If we’re saving the mantles we can’t ignore the kitchens! Before the pandemic we all cooked less.  There has been a dramatic shift, trends such as bread making suggest that for a number of people, the pandemic has freed up time to focus on food preparation. The following appliances are top of the line from the most revered brands, think what you could cook with the right tools!?

Featuring current models, at a fraction of retail, including:

Wolf 48″ dual fuel professional range with six burners and and infrared griddle, Model # DF486G.
